The Sunny Bar is a Kulm Hotel legend. The daring bobsleigh pilots who
make the Cresta Run have congregated here for decades, and it is also a
"local" for any number of figures from high society. Cresta Run
trophies and photos of celebrated patrons adorn the walls, conveying a
vivid impression of the bar's lively past. Suspended from the ceiling
is a pair of gymnasium-style rings, specially for extra self-confident
athletes to flex their muscles in demonstrations of prowess. In winter,
after the day's racing is done, victory honours are celebrated in the
afternoons at the Sunny Bar. The sun terrace is open in fair weather -
just the place to partake of a leisurely lunch. A lively history stands
in fascinating contrast to the venue's modernistic interior.
