Wette Hlasek
Wette Hlasek
Marietta Gianella loves tennis. Since the French Open and the Davis Cup 1992, she has been a Jakob Hlasek fan. She finds the strength, hard work and likeable personality of this Swiss tennis player fascinating. But since he has retired from professional tennis, opportunities to see him at work are thin on the ground.

During a weekend at the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz she notices the "Whatever you like" offer, and her husband promptly jokes with her that she could certainly ask if a rendezvous with Hlasek can be arranged. At first she is too embarrassed, but then Marietta Gianella simply can't stop thinking about this joke.

As she begins to play golf in the spring, she remembers that her tennis idol has also switched to this sport and has already earned a handicap of 2. THE opportunity to watch him at "work" once again. She bets the "Whatever you like" team that it won't succeed in talking Mr Hlasek into hitting a few balls with her.

Once on the driving range, she still cannot believe that in a few minutes Jakob Hlasek will be giving her a golf lesson. The native Czech knows just how to calm her nerves by simply being himself. It is exactly as she has expected it. The former tennis professional also plays brilliantly on the golf course and Marietta Gianella leaves no stone unturned when it comes
to questioning him about his technique. In no time, the hobby golfers are chatting about backspins and wedges, and her dream evolves into one of the best afternoons of her life. Ms Gianella grins impishly: "I have to thank my husband. Without his teasing I would never have been able to have this experience."
